Budujemy według tej samej dokumentacji więc możemy się ścigać bez stosowania formuł pomiarowych.  Jednak budując samodzielnie łódkę możecie ją dostosować do własnych potrzeb i doświadczeń. Każda samodzielnie zbudowana łódź ma niepowtarzalny styl i charakter. I to jest piękne.

We build according to the same documentation so we can race and the real time shows the winner. However, by building a boat yourself, you can adapt it to your own needs and experiences. Each self-built boat has a unique style and character. And this is beautiful.

Individual companionway.

Zejściówkę każdy  może rozwiązać na swój sposób. Są dwa skrajne podejścia żeglarzy do tego tematu. Pierwsze, tylko na łódkach które żeglują sucho,  to wykonanie  zejściówki wygodnej, pozwalającej szybko i łatwo wychodzić na pokład i wchodzić do kabiny. Tak jest w projekcie. Druga opcja podkreślająca ekstremalny charakter łódki to szczelna, możliwie mała zejściówka zamykana lukiem. Wygoda wchodzenia jest tu nieważna. Liczy się szczelność i szybkość zamykania. Tak będzie na Trekce. 

Everyone can solve the companionway in their own way. There are two extreme sailors' approaches to this topic. The first is to make a comfortable companionway, allowing you to quickly and easily get on board and enter the cabin. This is the design. The second option, compatible with the extreme nature of the boat, is a tight, possibly small companionway closed with a hatch. The convenience of getting in is not important here. The tightness and the speed of closing count. So it will be on Trekka.

Tuż nad poszerzeniem płetwy będzie przykręcony zawias. Zaokrąglone podcięcie na płetwie steru służy temu by nie koncentrować naprężeń w jednym miejscu. Po oblaminowaniu płetwy można je wypełnić lekką szpachlówką.

There will be a screwed hinge just above the fin widening. The rounded undercut on the rudder blade is used to avoid concentrating the stresses in one place. After the fins are laminated, they can be filled with a light putty.

 Pokład możemy wykonać wybierając jedną z dwóch wersji. Tą z wieżyczką obserwacyjną, pokazaną na arkuszy 3 lub pokazaną na arkuszu 3A wersję z kopułką obserwacyjną. Trekka będzie miała na pokładzie kopułkę. 

We can make the deck by choosing one of the two versions. The one with the watchtower shown on sheet 3 or the version with the bubble shown on sheet 3A. The Trekka will have a  bubble.

Kokpit

 

Budując samodzielnie łódkę możemy ją dostosować do naszych potrzeb i możliwości. W elementach które nie mają bezpośredniego wpływu na bezpieczeństwo często wprowadzane są indywidualizacje. W Trekce dodatkowymi elementami które nie występują w projekcie są wysunięta zejściówka i daszek na pochyłą ścianką. Nadadzą łódce oryginalny wygląd i pozwolą ukryć pod daszkiem kompas czy echosondę. Ceną będzie brak możliwości oparcia pleców o pochyłą ściankę i wymagające większego pochylenia wychodzenie z kabiny. W dokumentacji przewidziano dwa miejsca na tratwę ratunkową. Pod kokpitem i na rufie. Na Trekce tratwa ratunkowa będzie miała miejsce pod kokpitem przy zejściówce. Nie będzie obniżenia rufowej części kokpitu. To wybór rozwiązania prostszego i pozwalającego  przenieść ciężar tratwy bliżej środka łodzi.

By building a boat ourselves, we can adapt it to our needs and capabilities. Individualisations are often introduced in the elements that do not have a direct impact on safety. In Trekka, additional elements that are not included in the design are an extended companionway and a roof on an inclined wall. These elements will give the boat an original look and allow you to hide a compass or an echo sounder under the roof. The price will be the inability to rest your back against the inclined wall and the exit from the cabin that requires a greater inclination. The documentation provides for two places for a life raft. Under the cockpit and at the transom. On Trekka, the life raft will take place under the cockpit. There will be no lowering of the aft part of the cockpit. It is a choice of a simpler solution that allows the weight of the raft to be moved closer to the center of the boat.

Tak jak poniżej będzie wyglądała tylna ścianka na łodziach wykonanych bez wprowadzania zmian (posłużyłem się zdjęciem Setki).

The inclined wall allows you to comfortably rest your tired back. You don't have to go to the cockpit to observe the horizon. It is enough to open the upper part of the companionway, stand upright in the companionway and check whether you can see any ships on the crest of the wave. Fast and easy.

Pasat lekko dmucha od rufy. Żeglarz koryguje kurs i ogląda ocean  opierając plecy o pochyłą ściankę. Z fal wyskakują latające ryby.  Na linie za rufą piorą się spodnie. Tak można spędzić wiele dni między Teneryfą a Martyniką.

The trade wind blows slightly from the stern. The sailor corrects the course and watches the ocean, leaning his back against the sloping wall. Flying fish jump out of the waves. Trousers are washed on the rope behind the stern. This is how you can spend many days between Tenerife and Martinique.

Forpik.

 W forpiku Trekki umieszczona będzie dwuosobowa koja. Miejsce pod koja przeznaczone jest na bagaże. Pamiętajcie jednak, że Globe 5.80 to nie jest duża łódka. Blisko dziobu pod koją powinny być tylko rzeczy lekkie. Wszystkie większe ciężary muszą być blisko środka kadłuba. Gdy będziecie przestrzegali tej prostej zasady to łódka będzie  żeglowała sucho a kołysanie wzdłużne będzie dobrze tłumione. Podobnie postępujcie z bagażem w achterpiku. Jeżeli nie obciążycie go zbyt mocno to fale będą łagodnie unosiły rufę i przechodziły pod jachtem nie ochlapując załogi siedzącej w kokpicie. 

There will be a double berth in the Trekka forepeak. The place under the berth is intended for luggage. However, remember that Globe 5.80 is not a big boat. Only light things should be near the bow under the berth. All larger weights must be close to the center of the hull. If you follow this simple rule, the boat will sail dry and pitch will be damped well. Do the same with the luggage in the stern. If you do not load it too much, the waves will gently lift the stern and pass under the boat.

Budujemy wnętrze - mesa.

Zabudowa wnętrza Globe 5.80 nie stanowi elementów konstrukcyjnych. Można więc zabudować wnętrze dowolnie dostosowując jego plan do indywidualnych potrzeb. Trekka jest przykładem bogatej zabudowy. Będą koje dla czterech żeglarzy i liczne szafki. Ścianki przestrzeni bagażowych są szczelnie połączone z dnem i burtami. Takie rozwiązanie szczególnie potrzebuje otworów wentylacyjnych. Tu jeszcze ich nie widać, zostaną zrobione później. Drugim sposobem wykonywania zabudowy jest pozostawianie szczelin wentylacyjnych. To pokazałem na końcu, na przykładzie budowy łodzi typu Setka.

The interior of Globe 5.80 does not constitute structural elements. So you can develop the interior freely adapting its plan to individual needs. Trekka is an example of rich interior. There will be berths for four sailors and numerous lockers. The walls of the luggage compartments are tightly connected to the bottom and sides. This solution especially needs ventilation openings. They are not visible here yet, they will be taken later. The second method of making interior is to leave ventilation gaps. I showed this at the end, on the example of building a Setka boat.

W wejściu do forpiku będzie zamontowany szczelny luk. Wielkość luku dobieracie według własnych potrzeb. Dobrze by nie był mały. Najlepiej 600 x 700 dla wnętrza jak w Trekce (arkusz 3A) i 600 x 900 dla podstawowego planu wnętrza (arkusz 3).

There will be a sealed hatch at the entrance to the forepeak. You choose the size of the hatch according to your own needs. It would be good not to be small. Preferably 600 x 700 for the Trekka interior (sheet 3A) and 600 x 900 for the basic interior plan shown on sheet 3.
